Well Visit Schedule

At East Lake Pediatrics, we aim to foster excellent health in your child from the time they are born until adulthood. Take a look at the well visit schedule below to learn more about immunizations, screenings, and tests your child will receive.

In-Hospital Visit

A pediatrician from East Lake Pediatrics will see your baby daily at Mease Countryside Hospital. A staff pediatrician will see your baby daily at all other local hospitals. During the hospital stay your baby will receive the following:
Vitamin K shot
Hearing Test
Newborn State Screening Blood Test
Hepatitis B #1

Circumcision

If requested, and if one of our pediatricians is available, they will perform a circumcision on your son prior to discharge from Mease Countryside Hospital. Some insurance companies do not pay for this service. If that is the case, arrangements can be made with our office for payment prior to the procedure.
